APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STORING HAND OVER INFORMATION

An apparatus and a method for storing handover information are provided to generate handover information based on a signal received from a terminal and to broadcast the handover information by using beam-forming at a specific region within a base station. An estimation unit(210) estimates an incident direction of a received signal for a first base station based on a signal received form terminals(240,250) which belong to the first base station. Here, the estimated incident direction is related to the specific region within the coverage range of the first base station at which a terminal is placed. In case that the terminal performs the handover to a base station near the first base station, a storage unit(220) stores the estimated incident direction as the handover information related to the base station to which the handover is performed. In addition, the storage unit creates the information of at least one base station, to which handover is performed from the first base station, as beam-forming information. A transmission unit(230) transmits the information of at least one base station in the incident direction based on the beam-forming information.
