A backlight inverter is provided to remove the deviation of the output current value by improving the accuracy of the drive integrated circuit of the low-price type. A backlight inverter(200) comprises a booster(230), a voltage detector(210) and a current adjusting unit(220). The booster provides the driving voltage to the lamp. The voltage detector converts the AC voltage generated from both ends of the sense resistance (Rs) into the DC voltage. The sense resistance is connected to the lamp. The voltage detector outputs the control signal according to comparison the transformed DC voltage with the reference voltage. The current adjusting unit includes a switch(225) and a second resistance (R2). According to the control signal of the voltage detector, the switch is turned on. When the switch is turned on, the second resistance is connected in parallel with the sense resistance. The current adjusting unit controls the current flowing in the lamp. |
