An alphabet input system of mobile communication terminal is provided to make anyone remember easily combination using combination of symbol having a basic shape of alphabet, to input easily and rapidly alphabetic characters. A line and a circle of fixed shape are allocated to square key of a terminal keypad. Alphabetic characters are input according to operation of users into the combination of the inputted circle and the line. A mode conversion key is converted into a direction key mode or a character input mode whenever is pushed one time when the English characters are inputted. A "#" key preforms spacing function when is pushed one time and uppercase/lowercase conversion function or special character display function when is pushed two times. English word including initial letter of English words stored in a database of internal memory is provided to a sub menu screen according to input order if only two or more initial letters are inputted while the English words are inputted by the combination of keypad.
