<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is free from deterioration of image quality caused by selection of particle size of toner and degradation of toner, and free from overfilling a toner supply part with toner even when it is an image forming apparatus using a compact developing device. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus of a rotary developing system using the developing device equipped with a toner storage part equipped with a toner stirring member, and the toner supply part equipped with a developing roller and a supply roller, the toner storage part and the toner supply part are partitioned by a first partition wall and a second partition wall, and the first partition wall is provided to extend upward from the bottom part of the developing device between the supply roller and the toner stirring member, and the second partition wall is provided to extend downward from the upper part of the developing device nearer to the toner supply part side than the first partition wall. The upper end of the first partition wall is positioned upper than the lower end of the second partition wall, and a gap between the first partition wall and the second partition wall is set as a toner path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
