<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument capable of changing an accompaniment music pattern suitable for a tempo, when a tap tempo value is changed. <P>SOLUTION: When a player presses a key of a keyboard section 114, the accompaniment data of musical tone pattern suitable for the tap tempo value is read from a music piece data storage section 10 by a setting section 16, according to the tap tempo value calculated by a calculation section 14.
