<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge capable of counting the number of times that it has been shaken by a worker, and an image forming apparatus capable of supplying toner which is sufficiently stirred and dissolved to a developing means. <P>SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 1 counts the number of times the toner cartridge 1 has been shaken by a counting part 206. A control part 28 of the image forming apparatus acquires the counting result of the counting part 206, and controls each part of the image forming apparatus such that a display part 29 displays a message encouraging the worker to shake the toner cartridge 1 since the shaking of the toner cartridge 1 is insufficient if the acquired counting result is smaller than a predetermined value, and the toner contained in the toner cartridge 1 is supplied to a developing unit of the image forming apparatus since the toner cartridge 1 is sufficiently shaken and the toner in the toner cartridge 1 is stirred and dissolved if the acquired counting result is greater than or equal to a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
