摘要 A magnesium-polypropylene sandwich panel which has been further lightened and is capable of being applied to car bodies and other parts by improving workability of the panel while satisfying bending stiffness of the panel required in the vehicle applications is provided, and a manufacturing method thereof is provided. A manufacturing method of a magnesium-polypropylene sandwich panel comprises the steps of: annealing a magnesium alloy sheets(11), and preheating a propylene sheet(13); spray coating a powder type EVA adhesive(12,14) on the surface of the annealed magnesium ally sheet, and laying up the preheated polypropylene sheet on the powder type EVA adhesive-coated magnesium ally sheet; spray coating the EVA adhesive on the surface of the polypropylene sheet, and laying up the other annealed magnesium alloy sheet(15) on the EVA adhesive-coated polypropylene sheet; and passing the laid-up sheets through rolling rollers to roll and bond the laid-up sheets. A magnesium-polypropylene sandwich panel(10) comprises a polypropylene sheet(13) used as a core material, and magnesium alloy sheets as a surface material adhered to both sides of the polypropylene sheet using an EVA adhesive(12,14).
