PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous serial communication system for easily detecting a switching error for class of data and for easily judging switching in the class of data during communication of two or more classes of data. SOLUTION: In the synchronous serial communication in which data signal is set at the rising edge (or falling edge) of the clock signal and the data signal is read at the falling edge (or rising edge) of the clock signal, this communication is characterized in that the data signal is set at the falling (or rising) edge of the clock signal when class of data is switched on the occasion of sending two kinds of data, and the data signal is read at the rising (or falling) edge of the clock signal through the switching operation and thereby this switching is continued during the section in the class of data.
