PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly identify a color of an object in image data obtained by imaging the object. SOLUTION: By use of a function part 103 receiving the image data obtained by imaging the object 101 and storing the image data into a function part 102, a function part 104 extracting a common color area that is configured of a common color of the object in the stored image data and the color configuring the common color area, a function part 105 converting a color of a pixel in the image data into a relative value based on the extracted color configuring the common color area, and a function part 106 obtaining distribution characteristic data related to the converted relative value and storing the distribution characteristic data, it is decided whether or not distribution characteristic data of a learning image having a distribution characteristic similar to the obtained distribution characteristic data of a query image to inputted query image data exists in the obtained distribution characteristic data of the learning image to inputted learning image data (108).
