PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skill training device enabling a trainee to effectively acquire the skill to judge the condition of machine components by the sounds produced by the components. SOLUTION: The skill training device 100 is constituted as a skill training device enabling a trainee to acquire the skill to judge the condition of machine components by the sounds produced by the components. The skill training device 100 includes: a turntable 20 whereon a plurality of machine components 10a-10f whose conditions are different from each other are arranged; a plate 40 positioned above the turntable 20 so as to cover over the plurality of machine components 10a-10f arranged on the turntable 20; and a controller 60 which turns the turntable 20 so that a machine component selected from the plurality of machine components 10a-10f is positioned at a prescribed position A and which operates the selected machine component to allow the trainee to listen to the sounds produced by the component.
