PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express imaging qualities with various variations, in an image obtained upon continuous shooting photography. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 is equipped with: an image sensor 9 which photographs the image of an object; an AFE (analog front end) 11 which changes an analog image signal obtained by the image sensor 9, into a digital image signal; a shutter operating unit 7 operated upon continuous shooting photography; a sensor 13 which detects the operating amount or the operating power of the shutter operating unit 7; and a whole controller 19 which controls a gain for amplifying the analog image signal of the AFE 11 based on the operating amount or the operating power detected by the sensor 13.
