PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory capacity by lessening the mask capacity to be stored in advance for being applied to multipath recording. SOLUTION: A second mask, the size of which is≤(n-1)/n times as much as that of a first mask applying to the multipath recording and from which a region enabled to be restored by utilizing a complementary relationship from the first mask is removed, is fixedly memorized. At recording, the second mask is applied by being expanded to the first mask. As a result, as being maintained properties being had by a mask to image quality, the mask capacity or memory capacity to be stored can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
