PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet clamping device drawing a pallet from a positioning member when unclamping and smoothly transferring the pallet from upward and downward. SOLUTION: A spirally turning groove 30 is provided on a piston rod 27 of a hydraulic cylinder 6, and a guide member 32 is fitted into the groove 30 to constitute a rotary device 33. In addition, a push-up member 35 having a clamping claw 9 integrally fixed to the piston rod 27 of the cylinder 6 is provided. The piston rod 27 is turned by the rotary device 33 when it ascends, the push-up member 35 also ascends and turns integrally to move the clamping claw 9 to a retreat position not facing the pallet 7, and also draws out the pallet 7 from the positioning member 5 of a table 3. As the piston rod 27 descends and turns, the push-up member 35 also descends and turns integrally to move the clamping claw 9 to an engaging position facing the pallet 7, and the pallet 7 is clamped by the clamping claw 9 and a mount 4 of the table 3.
