A control unit (10) of portable telephones (1), if detecting the incoming from another portable telephone (1) through a network (L1) or detecting the incoming from the another portable telephone (1) through a public telephone network (N), identifies the telephone number of a portable telephone (1) on the outgoing side. The control unit (10) judges whether or not to notify a computer (4) that there is an incoming depending on the distinction between private and public matters preset to the identified telephone number of the caller and the distinction between private and public matters preset to the nearest radio (AP2) at the point at which the incoming is detected. The control unit (10), if judging to notify the computer (4) that there is the incoming, generates display data for notifying that there is the incoming to its own portable telephone (1) to transmit it from a first communication section (14) to the computer (4).
