MOBILE STATION AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING NOTIFICATION MESSAGE IN OUTBOUND ROAMING

A mobile communication terminal for processing a call-reception notifying message in the oversea roaming and a method therefor are provided to control whether to check the available time of the call-reception notifying message depending on whether the mobile terminal is using the oversea roaming service. A wireless processing unit(210) converts and outputs a wireless signal received in an antenna into an IF signal or converts and outputs a signal to be transmitted from an IF signal into a wireless signal through the antenna. A storage unit(220) stores programs for the operation of a controller(270) and call-reception notifying messages received through the wireless processing unit. An effective time checking unit(230) extracts and confirms the effective time included in a pull indicator field within a TP-User-Data field of the call-reception notifying message. An MCC(Mobile Country Code) comparison unit(240) compares the MCC of a domestic network stored in the storage unit with the MCC of a network where a called terminal is positioned. A key input unit(250) receives a key input for the confirmation of the call-reception notifying message from the user of the called terminal. A display unit(260) displays an image which shows that the call-reception notifying message is received, and displays a screen corresponding to an additional key input from the user of the called terminal.
