PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator superior in productivity and in durability, and having conductivity as well as optical transmittance, to provide a fuel cell using the separator, and to provide a manufacturing method of the fuel cell.

SOLUTION: The separator for the fuel cell is composed of a ceramic material having conductivity and optical transmittance.
