<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a roll control system more favorably than a known constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This roll control system (10) includes: front and rear torsion bars (16, 16'); front and rear first hydraulic actuators (12, 12'); and control means (62, 64) for controlling operations of the hydraulic actuators when predetermined vehicle states are detected. The hydraulic actuators are equipped with first and second fluid chambers (40, 40' and 42, 42'), respectively. The control means are provided with: a fluid pressure source (66); a fluid reservoir (68); a pressure regulating valve (70) fluidly connected between the pressure source and the reservoir; two pressure relief valves (72, 74) each having two positions for fluidly connecting the fluid chamber with the pressure source (66) or the fluid reservoir in a selective manner; and a direction control valve (76) fluidly connected between the pressure relief valves and the fluid chamber. When the predetermined vehicle states are detected, the pressure relief valves and the direction control valve take such positions as to give fluid pressure to the first fluid chamber and/or such positions as to give fluid pressure to the second fluid chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
