PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of shortening the time required to detect a focusing plane when making multipoint time lapse observation. SOLUTION: A photographing system is connected for communication with an information processor which makes a microscope having an autofocusing control mechanism, an offset lens control mechanism, a stage control mechanism to control the displacement of the stage holding samples of the observation object, and a photographing mechanism to perform multipoint time lapse photographing. This microscope moves its sample mounting stage following the multipoint time lapse photographing schedule to the positions specified by the positional information stored in a memory. It stops the autofocusing control mechanism and the offset lens control mechanism before the timing to move the stage and restart them again when the stage is completely moved. Further, it overwrites the positional information of the stage in the memory when it has stopped the control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
