PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic guided vehicle device which prevents congestion on main tracks so as to increase the average speed of conveying vehicles and to increase conveying capability with the same number of conveying vehicles. SOLUTION: The automatic guided vehicle device has parallel main tracks 1, 2 and a short-circuiting track 3 that connects the main tracks 1, 2 in a short-circuiting way. The short-circuiting track 3 comprises traverse tracks 31, 32 branching and merging with the main tracks 1, 2, and a straight track 33 being parallel to the main tracks 1, 2 for retaining a plurality of conveying vehicles A.
