PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error notification system capable of improving convenience by displaying the latest history information and the input information of an error occurrence factor or the like when the same type of error occurs, and there is a history in the past. SOLUTION: This error notification system is provided with: a database 23 in which information related with the content of an error which can be estimated in advance and a copying method is stored; a control circuit 19 for detecting the generation and content of the error, and acquiring information related with the content of the error and the coping method from the database 23, and displaying it on a an indicator 14 with a prescribed format; and an operation part 15 for writing arbitrary input information including the error generation factor in the prescribed format displayed on the indicator 14. The control circuit 19 stores the input information as an error history in the database 23 by associating it with error content, and when detecting the same type of error, makes the indicator 14 automatically or selectively display an error history including the input information.
