PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur preventing device capable of being made compact. SOLUTION: This blur preventing device 11 for preventing blur of an optical image includes a lens holder 12 for holding an optical element, a first moving body 13 that is constituted engageably with the lens holder 12 and moves in the Y direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction (Z direction), a second moving body 14 that is constituted engageably with the lens holder 12 and moves in the X direction orthogonal to the Z direction and Y direction, a fixed section 15b that supports a part of the lens holder 12, is arranged between the first moving body 13 and the second moving body 14 in the Z direction, and defines a part of a body 15 of the blur preventing device 11, and an energizing member 23 for energizing the first moving body 13 and the second moving body 14 toward the fixed section 15b.
