PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system 20 capable of speedily starting route search to a destination by few operations. SOLUTION: Every time a destination is reached, the navigation system 20 relates a route already traveled to reach the destination to locational information indicating the destination and records it. During the travel of a vehicle, the navigation system 20 displays buttons, which are for setting locations related to routes including roads already traveled as destiantions, on a screen.
