PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new video camera. SOLUTION: The video camera 10 acquires position data in a GPS circuit 52, and a CPU 30 determines in which zone of one region or resort the video camera is present on the basis of the position data. When specified by a user, the CPU 30 superimposes zone inherent moving image data inherent to the determined zone, which are read from a flash memory 56, on real time moving image data and stores them in an SDRAM 38. When a REC button is pressed, composite image data read from the SDRAM 38 are encoded by an encoding circuit 46, ciphered by an SD card driver 48 and recorded in an SD card 50.
