PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of homogeneity of air-fuel mixture by preventing fuel spray from stagnating near an exhaust port. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 22 is attached to a cylinder head 14 and injects a fuel toward the exhaust port 16 side of the wall surface of a cylinder bore 12. A warped part 31 is formed on the bottom outer peripheral part of the cylinder head 14 near the exhaust port 16. The warped part 31 forms a spray deflecting space 32 between itself and the wall surface of the cylinder bore 12 by projecting to the piston 13 side. The fuel is injected from the fuel injection valve 22 at the half of an intake stroke, collided with the wall surface of the cylinder bore 12, and spread into upper and lower parts. At the middle of the intake stroke, the fuel spray B deflected upward is collided with the warped part 31, directionally converted downward in the spray deflecting space 32, and runs with a tumble flow T.
