PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine allowing easy adjustment work after assembly of the housing and preventing rise of a bearing from the housing during housing assembly work. SOLUTION: A housing 2 of a Roots pump 1 has an upper and lower two divided construction constructed by joining together a lower housing 10 which is provided with a rear lower bearing holding part 13 opening toward a lower side and holding rear bearings 32, 33 and an upper housing 20 which makes a pair with the rear lower bearing holding part 13 and is provided with a rear upper bearing holding part 23 opening toward a lower side and holding rear bearings 32, 33. The housing is provided with a bearing holder 26 fixed on the lower housing 10 for preventing rise of the rear bearings 32, 33 from the rear lower bearing holding part 13 and positioning the rear bearings 32, 33 on the lower housing 10.
