PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door guard adaptable to local deformation and capable of preventing the engagement of an arm with a projection by the effect of earthquake from occurring by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This door guard 2 comprises the arm 10 turnably attached to a base 12 and an engagement part 20 engageable with the arm 10. Hole parts 23a, 30 for attaching the door guard to a door frame 6 or a door 4 installed at the door frame through fixing devices 16 are formed in the base 10 or the engagement part 20. The hole parts 23a, 30 formed in one of the base 10 and the engagement part 20 are elongated.
