PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an earthquake control system capable of rapidly realizing the shift to an earthquake control operation with a simple constitution at low cost by using a simultaneous broadcasting distribution service of emergency earthquake flash report by a cellular phone company. SOLUTION: A cellular phone terminal 14 for receiving emergency earthquake flash report distributed from a cellular phone company is provided on an elevator installation site building. An emergency earthquake flash report extraction unit 20 for extracting emergency earthquake flash report and outputting it outside, and a storage unit 21 for storing information on emergency earthquake flash report output outside are added to the cellular phone terminal 14. A control terminal 15 for outputting the signal for the shift to the earthquake control operation to a control panel 8 based on information on the emergency earthquake flash report output from the cellular phone terminal 14 is installed on the installation site building, and the control terminal 15 is adequately connected between the cellular phone terminal 14 and the control panel 8.
