PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more favorably mix cold air with warm air by a blower in an air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for the vehicle, the blower 20 is arranged on the extension of a heater core 15. Therefore, the cold air passed through a bypass passage 16 and the warm air blown off from the heater core 15 are collided with each other at an angle of about 90°before they are sucked into both suction openings of a scroll casing 24a. Since the cold air and the warm air are more favorably mixed by an impeller 22 of the blower 20, temperature distribution is suppressed from being generated in air-conditioning air blown off from blowout openings 35, 36 and a foot opening 39 into a cabin.
