PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detector capable of correctly determining a collision of an object with a vehicle without being influenced by a change in temperature. SOLUTION: This pedestrian collision detector 1 includes: a chamber member 10; a pressure sensor 11; a temperature sensor 12; a pedestrian collision determining section 13; and a bumper absorber 14. The chamber member 10 forms a chamber 100. The pressure sensor 11 detects pressure in the chamber 100. The bumper absorber 14 absorbs an impact. The chamber member 10 and the bumper absorber 14 are made of resin, and vary in hardness depending on temperatures. Therefore, the detected result by the pressure sensor 11 varies by the change in temperature. The pedestrian collision determining section 13 corrects pressure detected by the pressure sensor 11 based on the detected result by the temperature sensor 12 and determines the collision based on the corrected pressure.
