PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with flexible wing parts which can be easily folded along side edges of the crotch of an underwear and which can be easily and quickly fixed to the underwear excellent in the prevention of staining of the underwear. SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises an absorbent body 11 having an absorbent layer 12 and a leakage prevention layer 16 and a pair of wing parts 2, 2 disposed on both sides of the absorbent body 11 in an excretion part facing part A. The shape of each pair of the wing parts 2, 2 is asymmetric in the front and rear of a crossing line TL in the width direction passing the midpoint 27c of the edge 27 at the distal end of each wing part 2.
