PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage type X-ray high voltage device for medical use, which obtains information concerning the probability of photographing, etc., even during charging. SOLUTION: The device includes: an X-ray control means 8 for outputting a control signal to control an X-ray to be radiated from an X-ray tube 6; a determining means 12 for determining the probability of photographing, based on a charging amount detection signal which is received from a charging amount detecting means 7 connected to a power storage means 3; and a determination announcing means 13 for announcing determination results from the determining means 12 as determination information.
