The brake has a hydraulically operable working brake and an electromechanically operable parking brake that acts on a brake piston (5) by a gear (1). The gear converts a rotational movement into a translational movement by a threaded spindle (2) and a threaded nut (3) that contact each other by roller bodies (4). The bodies are arranged to move between stops in a thread path with a spring unit (10) arranged between the bodies and one stop, where slippage of the bodies is permitted on load-free operation of the gear, and rolling of the bodies is permitted on operation of the gear under load.
