A community board registration or an inquiry service system and method using a mobile communications terminal are provided to register or refer a community board by using the mobile communications terminal. A mobile communications terminal(10) is a service user terminal using a community board registration and inquiry service. A media converting server(30) converts a multimedia file for the mobile communications terminal attached to an MMS(Multimedia Messaging System) message into a file format for wire and delivers the converted multimedia file to an MMS server(20). The media converting server converts the multimedia file for wire registered in a board into a format optimized to the output environment of the mobile communications terminal which requests an inquiry of the board, and delivers the converted multimedia file to a board server(40). A community related board is operated and managed on the board server. If a board registration request message is received from the MMS server, the board server registers postings or the multimedia file in the board and replies the board registration result to the MMS server. According to the SMS message transmission request of the board server, an SMS(Short Message Service) server(50) prepares an SMS message in which WAP URL information and a postings title are included and transmits the prepared SMS message to the mobile communications terminal of a service user. |
