BULB UNLOADING APPARATUS AND METHOD USING THE SAME

A bulb unloading apparatus and a method are provided to smoothly discharge bulb from the quartz tube by exposing one end of bulb to the quartz tube external. A bulb unloading apparatus is comprised of an air blower(220), a gauge(230), and a robot(240). The air blower exposes a part of the bulb(L) to the outside of the quartz tube by spraying the air with high pressure to one end of the quartz tube(C). A gauge senses the exposure degree of the bulb exposed by the air blower to the outside of the quartz tube. The gauge controls the air blower according to the sensing result. Exposed one end of bulb is griped by the robot. The robot is comprised of a robot arm(242) having a clamp(243) which grips the bulb; a main body(241) making the robot arm with the horizontal reciprocating movement.
