摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for enhancing drainability of an electrode formed by joining with an electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: When mixing an electrolyte dispersion solution for forming an electrode, carbon particles already carrying PtCo catalysts are dispersed into a solvent together with an electrolyte already containing the Pt catalyst. Nafion already containing the Pt catalyst approaches to the carbon particles already carrying the PtCo catalyst in the process of this dispersion. Then, the Nafion already containing the Pt catalyst sticks on a non-carrying location of the PtCo catalyst at an overwhelming area of the surface of each carbon particle since the solvent is disappeared on the electrode formed through the process of applying-drying of the electrolyte dispersion solution. Thus, the PtCo catalyst is already pre-carried on the surface of each carbon particle included in the formed electrode, and the Pt catalyst included by the Nafion is carried by the carbon particle through inclusion of the Nafion at the non-carrying location of the PtCo catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
