<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of restraining a catalyst layer from getting damaged at the time of forming of the same in a concavo-convex shape in a manufacturing process of an MEA having a concavo-convex shaped catalyst layer. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell with a catalyst layer arranged between an electrolyte membrane and a gas diffusion layer, includes (a) a process preparing catalyst powder for forming the catalyst layer, and (b) a process forming the catalyst layer by unevenly depositing the catalyst powder on at least either the electrolyte membrane or the gas diffusion layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
