<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus comprising a frame whose right and left side plates are constituted of a sheet metal and which holds a laser scanner on a sheet metal joining the right and left side plates, and having a video controller board on one side plate and a grounding part on the other side plate, and capable of preventing radiated noise by restraining increase of impedance to the minimum while providing air vents on the sheet metal joining the right and left side plates and holding the laser scanner. <P>SOLUTION: The air vent on the sheet metal joining the right and left side plates and holding the laser scanner is made to have longitudinal shape, and is arranged so that the longitudinal direction of the air vent may be orthogonal to the right and left side plates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
