<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed load detector allowing casters at legs of a bed to be easily mounted at regular load detection positions on a load receiving face. <P>SOLUTION: The load detector 1 comprises an ascending first slope part 11 and an ascending second slope part 12. The first slope part 11 guides wide casters 43 from a bed setting face 45 to the load receiving face 16 if the wide casters 43 are attached to the legs 42 of the bed 40. The second slope part 12 guides narrow casters 44 from the bed setting face 45 to the load receiving face 16 if the narrow casters 44 are attached to the legs 42 of the bed 40. The second slope part 12 is formed in the intermediate part in the left/right direction of the first slope part 11.
