OPTICAL SHEET FOR PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE, PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, AND DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet for a planar light source capable of preventing deterioration of display performance by lessening display unevenness such as a white spot (white pattern) on a display surface of a display unit.

SOLUTION: In the optical sheet for the planar light source having a light-transmitting substrate 12, and a prism section 16, in which a plurality of approximately triangular cross-sectioned unit prisms 14 having ridge lines on its top 5 are lined in the direction orthogonal to its ridge line, arranged on one face of the light-transmitting substrate 12, the top 5 of one unit prism 14 per 2-8 lines among the unit prisms 14 is formed at a level higher than those of the other tops 5' at a range of 0.4-10 μm, and a flat width W of the top 5 of the unit prism 14 is formed at a range of 100-400 nm.
