PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a fixing rise time, and to prevent an image carrier from being affected unfavorably by an temperature elevation of a fixing member. SOLUTION: This transfer fixing device is provided with a fixing roller (fixing rotor) 10, a fixing belt 12 laid thereon and transferred, in a transfer part B, with an image on the image carrier 20, a pressurizing roller (pressurizing member) 13 pressed to the fixing roller via the fixing belt to form a fixing nip part A, and a heating member 17 for heating the fixing belt after passed through the transfer part and before reaching the fixing nip part, an image transferred to the fixing belt is fixed simultaneously with the transfer to a recording material 24 passing the fixing nip part, in the fixing nip part. The transfer fixing device has a post-nipping guide plate (regulation member) 15 for regulating a winding angleθ2, in a fixing nip part downstream, of the fixing belt to the fixing roller, so as not to make a surface temperature of the fixing belt get lower than a prescribed set temperature.
