PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoanalyzer that reports the necessity of maintenance with respect to ion exchanged water used in the autoanalyzer in large quantities before the ion exchanged water is deteriorated in quality. SOLUTION: The autoanalyzer is equipped with a supply water sampling means for sampling the thermostatic water in the reaction tank in the autoanalyzer at a predetermined period, a detection means for detecting the amount of bacteria contained in the thermostatic water sampled by the sampling means and a control means for issuing a warning or stopping the measuring operation of the autoanalyzer in the case where the amount of bacteria detected by the detection means exceeds a predetermined value.
