PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid supply valve capable of well supplying ink from an ink chamber to a recording head part, wherein the ink corresponds to an ink amount discharged from the record head upon recording. SOLUTION: A discoid valve element comprising an elastic material has a fluid supply path at the center. When the discoid valve element comes into contact with/separated from a fixed valve seat which is disposed to correspond to the fluid supply path, the fluid supply valve closes/opens the fluid supply path. In the fluid supply valve, the discoid valve element has flexibility at the part between the edge part and the peripheral part of a fluid supply path sealing part. The ratio a/b is 0.015 to 0.35, wherein a is the direct distance from the edge part to the peripheral end part of the fluid supply path sealing part, and b is the length of the flexure in the vertical direction in the state that the fluid supply path is closed.
