PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce the generation of wind noise caused at the free end of an antenna element by an inexpensive and simple method. SOLUTION: The opening end 23a of the free end 23 of the antenna element 13 or 14 has a part 23b with a reduced diameter to thereby change a flow of air near the opening end 23a, consequently hardly causing a swirl of air in the antenna element 13 or 14, and thus preventing or reducing the generation of noise. The processing dimension and the shape of the part 23b with the reduced diameter are appropriately optimally formed so as to eliminate or reduce the generation of noise at an upper limit value of wind speed-resistant performance belonging to the antenna.
