PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably prevent erroneous operations not intended by a user even if an operation key is exposed to the outside. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 applicable to an information processing apparatus is of a sliding type in which a first case and a second case are slidable mutually provided via a guiding device. When a clearing-power source key among second operation keys 14 provided to the second case is depressed, a control part 41 determines whether or not an operation key other than the clearing-power key among the second operation keys 14 is depressed. When it is determined that the operation key other than the clearing-power source key among the second operation keys 14 is depressed, the control part invalidates the clearing-power source key among the second operation keys 14 and prohibits execution of operation accompanying the operation of the clearing-power source key among the second operation keys 14.
