PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dispatch vehicles in a conveying system using conveyance vehicles such as vehicles. SOLUTION: The conveying system (100) conveys articles to be conveyed in the inside of each of a plurality of sets composed by including working apparatuses (3) for applying various processing to the articles to be conveyed or between the plurality of sets. The conveying system (100) is provided with a plurality of conveyance vehicles (2), a moving means (11) for moving the conveyance vehicles (2) in the inside of each set and between the plurality of sets, a scheduled-number-of-carriers specification means (4) for specifying the scheduled number of conveyance vehicles which is requested for conveying the articles to be conveyed in the set at a point or period in the future, and a control means (6) for controlling the moving means (11) so as to move the conveyance vehicles between the sets on the basis of the specified number of carriers.
