PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable box body which has a hinge, shows excellence in durability and precision and keeps excellent appearance without damaging easy assemblability. SOLUTION: The box body has a square bottom plate 1 and four side plates 2 and 3 as major components, and the side plates 2 and 3 have tilting end surfaces 5 and 6 both butting against each other. The neighboring side plates 2 and 3 are connected to each other by a first hinge device 8 in the first corner part 10, and are connected to each other by a second hinge device 9 in the second corner part 11. The first hinge device 8 has a first bending center 12 positioned on the inner corner. The second hinge device 9 is slidable to the first side plate 2, and accordingly the side plates 2 and 3 become a linearly extended state by being rotated relatively around the second bending center 13 of the second hinge device 9. The box body is made by stacking the tilting surfaces 5 and 6 with the side plates 2 and 3 crossed perpendicularly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
