PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power train device allowing reduction in the dimension of a vehicle width direction as a whole. SOLUTION: In this power train device 10, a crankshaft 20 longitudinal in the vehicle width direction, a primary pulley 28 coaxially connected to the axis direction center 20A of the crankshaft 20 via a planetary gear 34, a secondary pulley 30 arranged at the front side of the primary pulley 28 and transmitted by the rotation of the primary pulley 28 via a V belt 32 and a movable gear 46 arranged coaxially with the secondary pulley 30 to switch forward and backward traveling by moving in the axis direction are stored in a common case member 52. In the case member 52, a crank case 22 for storing the crankshaft 20, the planetary gear 34 and the primary pulley 28 and a trunk axle case 54 arranged in the range of the dimension of the crank case 22 in the vehicle width direction to store the secondary pulley 30 are integrally formed.
