PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy field working machine that prevents damages caused by the ruggedness of field and by collisions with obstacles, secures durable fixing constitution of a wave-breaking member and suppresses side dispersions of water and soil and sand, pushed out by a float and outside dispersions of mud flow wave caused by the rotation of traveling wheels and a rotor for grinding soil mass. SOLUTION: The paddy field working machine 1 is equipped with a machine body 2 supported by the traveling wheels 11 so as to travel in a paddy field, a working apparatus 4 that is mounted on the machine body 2 and carries out paddy field operation and the float 56, that is arranged at the front side of traveling of a traveling position P by the working apparatus 4 and ground levels the paddy field. On the side position of the float 56, a wave-breaking plate 71 that goes beyond the front edge position of the float and extends in the front and in the rear is arranged, and the wave breaking plate 71 is rotatably and pivotally supported by a support shaft 72, in the vehicle width direction, behind the position of the center of gravity of the wave-breaking plate.
