[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] It is an object to provide a decorative product and a manufacturing method for a display unit of a decorative product configured to improve decorativeness in which a display unit has displays of engraved patterns, characters, etc. in an internal portion of a transparent decorative product body (1), the displays are randomly reflected, so that many folded images can be seen and rise from the product, many colors are developed, changes in design occur, unexpected results come up, and so on. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A decorative product is comprised of a transparent or semitransparent glass (2); a decorative product body (1) made of a synthesized resin; a metallic thin film (3) formed on the back surface; an engraved portion (M) where laser light (R) is irradiated from the back surface to eliminate unnecessary portions from the metallic thin film (3) and the decorative product body (1) adjacent to the back surface; and residual portions of the metallic thin film (3); and is further provided with a display unit (5) that can be seen through the decorative product body (1); and an uneven surface (6) that is formed at the engraved portion (M) in the vicinity of a boundary surface (S) of the decorative product body (1) and that randomly reflects incident light (I) to rise the display unit (5) from the product. |
