<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, which switches a security phase to an optimum one in response to network environments. <P>SOLUTION: MFPs 1 (multifunction peripherals) receive the announcement of power situations from a PC 5 (personal computer), which is a client device in a network 7, (at the step S1), updates user management information from the power situations (at the step S2) and executes in real time the decision and setting of security phase in response to the power source conditions of the client device on the network 7 memorized in the user management information (at the step S3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
